Changes Due to Covid-19
Our staff and our customer's safety are paramount, so we have made many changes to our daily operations to become Covid secure and to try to minimise the risk for anyone who visits our site.
On the PDF link provided you can download our Covid-19 Risk Assessment which was created in collaboration with our team.
However, below is a summary of the key changes that will impact you and that may be very different if you have previously visited us:
A one-way system is in operation through the restaurant.
Customers must sanitise their hands before entering.
Track & Trace is compulsory. Either manually provide your details at the counter when ordering or scan in via the governement's app using the QR code provided. Should you not wish to provide details or check in, you will not be permitted entry.
A brand-new menu has been developed; take-away style, picnic boxes and snacks.
For the time being, hot food has been greatly reduced. This is to ensure speed of service, reduce queue times and to encourage eating outside in the garden centre grounds.
1 person per group is permitted to order and pay at the counter. All other guests must take a seat immediately at a table either in the restaurant or outside.
Tables are socially distanced.
Tables have a maximum of 5 chairs inside and 6 chairs outside. Groups of more than 6 are not permitted and this includes children & babies.
A perspex shield has been constructed at the serving counter.
Perspex boards have been installed upon the restaurant floor to divide the walkway.
We are requesting contactless card payment where possible.
Our staff are required to wear masks and have the option of wearing visors too if they wish, so they may appear different (but they are the same team as before!)
The children's play area and the baby station have been removed.
Customers are required to clear their tables upon leaving.
